What a week!! We still focused on our letters Cc and Jj while also mixing in lots of Christmas fun.

Tuesday was all about Christmas trees. We sorted our Christmas tree alphabet, counted ornaments on a tree,  used their fingerprints to create Christmas lights and traced some colorful ornaments to help work on our fine motor. Tuesday they also got to bring home their gifts from me.

Wednesday was all about celebrating baby Jesus’ birthday. We had our party in the afternoon with lots of fun and games. They got to play toss the rings on the reindeer antlers, snowball toss, and drop candy canes on tinsel. Then they got a special snack and made a baby Jesus in a manger. Wednesday they also got to bring home their gift exchange present. We had a wonderful turnout and the kids loved it!

Thursday since it was our last day before break I tried to keep things light and fun. We decorated ugly sweaters, strung Christmas lights, did a fun “count the room” activity and watched Charlie Browns Christmas! They also got to bring home their Christmas gifts for you that we made in school. We worked on these a lot throughout the month and we hope you love them! The kids did an awesome job.

Have a wonder Christmas and a Happy New Year and I hope everyone stays happy and healthy!!! I can’t wait to see you all after the new year 🥰
