We started our review month this week. I can’t believe we are this close to the end. As much as I’m looking forward to lazy summer days, I’m really going to miss your kids!! They make work not seem like work, and I love watching and listening to them as they figure out the world around them!
Monday and Tuesday we reviewed letter N and worked on end of the year evals. We started our graduation practices so hopefully the kids come home singing!!
In our centers we counted beads with the intent of being able to recognize without counting, Colored our last monthly color sheet, Traced our names, glued newspaper on the letter N, and using twigs and yarn tried to build a nest.
On Wed/Thursday we focused on C. We read The Crunching Munching Caterpillar and made a caterpillar.
In our centers we played with chain links, made balls out of floam and put on a 1-5 chart, traced numbers 1-10, made shapes out of monkey string, and matched ABC magnets on the white board.
We said goodbye to our Butterfly’s last week. For the most part it was a beautiful week to let them go. We also kept watch over our birds nest in the playground. Looks like all but one egg has hatched and the Momma bird spends a lot of time keeping those babies warm.
I hope you have a great weekend! 2 more weeks left!
