Hello! I hope you all are staying warm and dry now that winter has officially hit us! I’ve lived in Indiana 15 years but I grew up in San Diego so snow is not my favorite thing!
We started off the week learning about the Letter L. We read The Grouchy Ladybug and made our own Grouchy Ladybug complete with an explanation of something that makes us grouchy!
In our centers we Colored the L ABC page, a quick kit of tracing Lady Bug lines, Using blank lady bugs added their dots using numbers to recognize, Fanta boards (a large version of lite bright that doesn’t plug in), and we built with Little Legos.
On Tuesday/Thursday we worked on the letter H. We read Wally does not want a Haircut. We made a Valentine Craft during art.
In our Centers we colored our H ABC page, matched colored hearts, practiced writing our names, using paper bags we drew faces and practiced cutting skills giving them hair, Found the letter H and marked with magnets.
Next week on Wed/ Thursday we will celebrate Valentines Day in our classroom. Please have your child bring in Valentines for their friends!
I hope you have a great weekend! Stay safe and warm!
