I can’t believe we are already at Thanksgiving week! Next we will only be in school Monday and Tuesday.

This week on Mon/Tuesday we focused on the letter Z. We read the story Zoomer and did a Thanksgiving Craft. We also raced cars on zig zag lines.

For our centers we colored our ABC page, Traced the letter Z, placed buttons on the letter Z, using tongs transferred cotton balls from one bowl to another, found all the zoo animals in a sensory bin.

Wed/Thursday we focused on the rectangle shape. We read Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks, and we put together the shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We talked about why it was important to give to kids who have less than we do. Thank you to all of you who donated!!

In our centers we Colored our monthly color sheet, matched different size rectangles, traced rectangles, matched ABC magnets, and made a rectangle out of floam.

Next week we will celebrate Thanksgiving in our classroom. Even in the midst of this crazy mixed up year we have so much to be Thankful for!!

Have a great weekend!
