Hello! I can’t believe we are already at Fall Break! We had a fun week celebrating in our classrooms! Thank you to all who volunteered to pass out candy, and for those who donated!
On Monday/Tuesday we worked on the letter R! We read the story of Noah and the promise of the Rainbow. We watched a walking Rainbow Science project, and we danced with ribbons!
For our centers we colored our R ABC page, used pattern bears to make simple and advanced patterns, used ripped paper to form a rainbow, formed letters in a rainbow salt tray, Built robots out of little legos.
Wed/Thursday was all about Halloween Fun! We read the book Walters Wonderful Web which helped us review our shapes. We decorated Mini pumpkins and had a Trunk or Treat Parade! I hope all the kids shared some treats with you!
In our classroom we played a spider ring threading game, sorted different Halloween spiders, used Playdoh and Halloween cookie cutters, picked spiders out of a web wrapped basket, and had a eyeball relay (ping pong ball on a spoon)
The kids had a great time!
I hope you all have a safe Halloween and a great Fall Break! I will see you back at school on Wed/Thursday!!
