Centers:

We colored an apple for our Aa ABC page

We used our fanta boards to match colors and create an apple mosaic

We did apple patterning

We used play doh on apple tree mats

We put apples on letter A

We did a letter Aa letter find worksheet

We matched circles on a letter A/apple tree picture

We matched shapes & used clothespins to mark them for our fine motor 

We put apple stickers on letter Aa

We colored our “Roses are Red” nursery rhyme page

We matched & sorted red, white, and blue beads

We used our fine motor boards

We used our sensory bin and used tweezers to pick out red pom poms

We colored our Clifford the Big Red Dog sheet

We did our #1 worksheet to recognize  the number 1 and do counting in several ways

We used our sort a shape boards for fine motor practice and shape recognition

We used mini peg boards for fine motor practice

We traced the numbers 0 & 1

We matched numbers 0-10 on our white board

We practiced writing our names

We did our monthly drawing sample

 

ART:

We cut apples in half and made apple prints!

We used our cutting, gluing, and letter recognition skills to make “name apples”! They are super cute!

 

Big Room/outdoor time:

During this time, we did several things the past few days….

We tasted apples, we went outside, and we used bean bags to identify body parts (put the bean bag on your head, elbow, etc), & also to identify colors.
