This week, we focused on the letter Ww & began our January review

 

Books we read:

The Watermelon Seed

Make a Wish Bear

 

Centers:

We colored a watermelon for our Ww ABC page

We put floam on the shape of a letter Ww

We cut wiggly lines

We used eye droppers to put water in a container with whales to make them float

We wrote our names on the white board

We did a #5 play-doh mat

We matched circles on the letter Ww & watermelon slice

We put popsicle sticks in the shape of a star

We built igloos out of blocks

We worked on evaluation items 

 

ART/other

 

We did a W is for worm art project, using a bingo dabber to make letter W in the shape of a wiggly worm

We did our January name & coloring sample
