Hello everyone! First let me inform you that if your child had said I was missing Nov. 24 and also last week Dec. 1-3rd, that I was at home e-learning with my girls. They attend a Lake Central elementary and all schools were doing e-learning during that time. I was not out ill!

It was nice to be back and see the kids smiling faces! And those that wear masks, I could tell by their eyes that they were smiling underneath! We have been working hard at doing some crafts and art projects for the holiday season! These will all be coming home on Wednesday!!! They have worked hard and we hope you enjoy their gifts to you!

The books we read this week were: The Jellybeans and the big dance, Norman the Slug Who Saved Christmas, How to Trick a Christmas Elf, 10 Things You Never Knew About Santa Claus, Corduroy, Little Porcupine’s Christmas as well as a few holiday stories from my Nick Jr. storybook and Disney/Pixar storybook.

The letters we have been and will continue next week are Cc and Jj, our numbers are 11 and 12, and our shape is the triangle.

Our centers this week involved some of our crafts and projects as well as working on different skills. We did lots of cutting, which is improving. We counted jellybeans by the number we rolled on the dice, completed a sequencing page with a gingerbread house, completed triangle practice as well as name writing practice.

A note went home today that mentioned what we will be having as a snack at our Christmas Party on Thursday. Also please remember if your child is participating in the $5 gift exchange to bring that Thursday or before and I am putting them to the side until then. Please have the gift wrapped and if your child is a boy, write To: Boy From: Your child’s name. Please know that if a child doesn’t send a gift, then they do not receive one…we just want all to know so tears are minimal.

Tuesday children can come wearing Christmas clothes!

Looking forward to our last week together next week and all the fun we will have!
