We colored our “Little Jack Horner” nursery rhyme page
We have been like busy elves making gifts for you! I can’t be too specific (don’t want to ruin the surprise) but there was lots of painting and gluing happening!
We have been having lots of fun seeing what kind of crazy things our classroom elf, Charlie will do each day. This week, he was hanging by his hat on the white board, & sitting by our fish tank with a pole, fishing for our classroom pet, Cinderella!
It’s lots of fun to have our elf and such, but we do talk about the real reason for Christmas each day with discussion & the books we read. At ABC Christian, it’s important for us to remind our kids that Jesus is the reason for the season!
Next week is our last before Christmas break. Wednesday & Thursday will be our class parties. We sent a note home about our snack, which is a snowman donut made from powdered donuts, chocolate chips and pretzel sticks. If your child is allergic to any of these items, please contact me so we can arrange for you to send in a safe replacement. Remember, we will be having a gift exchange. Please send your gift in by party day (make sure you write for BOY or GIRL, along with your child’s name). The gift should cost no more than $5. Thank you!
Until next week,
