Shape of the Week:

Tues: J is for Jellybeans

Today we started our day by reading the book “The Jellybeans and the Big Dance.” Then we had fun looking for Rosie and Oscar! They have been getting into trouble! Today they got themselves stuck in the Christmas tree! Then we had fun decorating our Christmas tree with our homemade ornaments from home! All the ornaments looked fantastic! At center time, we counted jellybeans, practiced our J letter sound, then did the letter J color-cut-paste activity, and then decorated bags. What a great day!

Wed: Jumping for Jesus!

Today we were jumping for Jesus! First we started our day by reading “The story of Jesus,” then at big room we had fun dancing and jumping for Jesus! Then we were all giggling when we saw Rosie and Oscar hanging from the ceiling! These two really know how to get themselves in a jam! Then at centers, we had fun playing with glitter, painting popsicle sticks, and gluing pom poms!

Thurs: Show N’Share what Jesus means to you!

Today we started out our day by reading “Christmas in the Barn” This is a nice story about the birth of Jesus! Today, Rosie and Oscar snuck into the cabinet! I wonder where they will hide next week? Today we got to have fun in big room! It was fun playing with our friends today! Then we talked about what Jesus means to us with our show n’ shares! Everyone was so proud of what they brought in! During centers we practiced writing letter J, had fun gluing buttons, and painting our hands white! It was a great week!
