Tues: Groundhog Day and Learning our last names!

Today we started our day by reading “Double Trouble Groundhog Day.” Then we talking about Groundhog and day seeing our shadows! We then made our very our groundhogs! This was very fun, especially when got to name our groundhogs, tell us how long, how much their groundhog weighs, and where their groundhogs live!  Finally we ended our day by finding our last names, spelling our last names, and putting ABC letters together to make our last names!

Wed: Lucky Ladybugs

Today was all about Lucky Ladybugs! We started out our day by reading the story ” Love is Kind.” Then we talked about ladybugs! We pained our hands red and stamped them on paper for ladybug hand prints! Then we worked on a cutting project where we cut-color-paste a ladybug life cycle. Finally we ended our day by counting to 100, working more on last names by finding our names again and tracing our last names. Then we wrote our capital letter L’s.

Thurs: We Love ABC

Today we started out our day by reading “Bear in Love.”  Then we had fun writing our first and last names properly and coloring a picture of something they loved! We then worked on writing letters about why they love ABC to future ABC Christian students and colored them a picture! Finally we ended our day by finishing our ladybugs by putting our spots and antennas on!
