Tues: Veggies

Today we started our day by reading “ Vegetables in Underwear!” The kids had so much fun with this book! Then we had fun stamping fruits and vegetables, then did vegetable patterns of what came next, and worked on letters that comes at the beginning of a word. Finally, we finished our day by talking about the different types of vegetables, learning about the number 15, and working on our fine motor by lacing beads onto numbered pipe cleaners.

Wed: Volleyball

Today was all about playing Volleyball in the big room! We were learning how to play volleyball and how to use our hands while were playing volleyball! Then we practice writing capital and lowercase letter Vv, cut-paste letter V, and building words. Finally, we ended our day by painting our hands red to make hearts!

Thurs: Valentine’s Day Party

Today we started out our day by reading “A Crankenstein Valentine.”  Then we had fun making a heart valentine using pipe cleaners, pink-purple-red beads, and name letter beads. Then we got to go to big room to exchange valentine’s. Finally, we finished our day by eating a valentine’s treat ( Strawberry wafer cookies, frosting, and sprinkles) and watching the movie Gnomeo and Joliet.
