Hi Parents,

We had a fun week with the letter ‘Gg.’ Here’s a snap shot…

In centers the kids wrote about why they love their grandparents, cut and glued a gumball machine out of the letter G, and rolled a dice and ‘planted’ that many flowers in a colander.  They also cut and colored flowers and put their names on them, had a St. Patrick’s Day color treasure hunt, and worked on St. Patrick’s Day pom pom mats.

In Science we finished talking about the 5 senses. The kids were able to smell different smells in cups, taste something salty and something sweet, and listen to different instruments and try to guess what it was. Ask your child if he/she remembers all 5 senses!

In art, since the theme was growing/gardening that day, the kids planted grass seeds in clear cups with their pictures on it. After break it will look like they all have green hair!!! They will need hair cuts don’t you think? I can’t wait!

I hope everyone has a wonderful spring break! See you March 30th!!

Take Care,

Missy
