We stamped them in a fish bowl for one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. Then we played a one fish two fish counting game, made truffula trees, and did a letter Ll cut -paste activity. Finally we ended our day by counting to 100, counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s.

Wed: Green Eggs and Ham!

Today we are eating Green Eggs and Ham! We started by reading the story “Green Eggs and Ham.”  Then we went into the kitchen and watched how we turned an egg green with food coloring. Then we watched Mrs. Kristina cook our green egg! After our egg was cooked we went into the big room to try our green eggs and ham. Some of our friends loved them and some thought it was “yucky!” Their faces were piceless! We finished our day with a song and dance.

Thurs: More Green Eggs and Ham!

Today we started out our day by reading “One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.” Then we worked on a creative writing. “I do not like green eggs and ham, i do not like them.” They had to write their names, pick what food they would eat instead, and color a picture of the food they would eat instead of green eggs and ham! Then we made Dr. Seuss hats, played a Dr. Seuss matching game, and matched rhyming words. Finally, we ended our day by looking or letter G, writing letter G, and colored pictures that started with letter G.
