Hi Parents,

We had another great week of review! Here’s a snapshot…

On Tuesday the letters we reviewed were N, T, and Z. In centers the kids matched cars with numbers on them to parking spaces with corresponding dots on them, for Transportation. They made a Zoo with animals, popsicle sticks, and kinetic sand, and they cut and glued matching upper and lowercase letters on a Turkey. In the afternoon the kids painted feathers on a Turkey, they worked on letter mats with click blocks, and they built shapes with Mega Blocks. We ended the day by playing Number BINGO and a game of charades.

On Wednesday we reviewed the letters I, S, X, and W. In centers the kids stacked Ice cream scoops on cones with numbers on them, they did a beginning sound match with a Snowman in a Snow globe, and they sorted winter/summer pictures. In the afternoon they did a Winter write the room. The kids had to count Snowflakes in Snow globes and circle which one had more. We ended the day by playing a game called Pencil Nose. Ask your kids about it, the game is hilarious!

On Thursday the letters we reviewed were D, H, L, and V. In centers the kids rolled dice and covered teeth with numbers on them (Dental), they cut ‘Hair’ worksheets, and they cut and glued a V beginning sound sheet. In the afternoon the kids cut and colored a Hat, rainbow wrote their first and last names, and they put together Dental rhyming cards. We ended the day by finishing playing Pencil Nose.

Only 3 more days of school! I can’t even believe it. Tuesday is our 100th day, please bring 100 of something or wear 100 of something. Tuesday is Boot camp day, have your child wear camouflage, and Wednesday, our last day of school, is camping day. Have your child wear Pajamas!!

Looking forward to a fun last week of school!

Take Care,

Missy
