This week we did more reviewing of our letters. Tuesday we reviewed the letters I, S, X, and C. This was also our camping day! We started the morning coloring a camping coloring sheet. We had circle time and sang to Jillian for her birthday. In centers, we played a snowman game, played in a sensory bin, and finished our boot camp books. After lunch, we got to go inside a real tent. We had a pretend fire and sang songs around it. We also had story time inside the tent. We had a camping scavenger hunt as well. Then we went outside to release our butterflies! It was so cool to watch them fly away. At the end of the day, we made camping bookmarks and had story time.
Wednesday we reviewed the letters D, H, L, and V. We started the day practicing writing our first and last names. In morning centers, we played with drawing tablets, played a heads and tails game, and did a lollipop color by number. In afternoon centers, we played with Dominoes, wrote our names for our end of school paper, made lollipops, and made letters with pop its. At the end of the day we had graduation practice and had story time.
Thursday we reviewed the letters G. U, and E. We also celebrated Naomi’s birthday. We started the day playing with some toys. In centers, we made letters with geo boards, played with an alphabet construction kit, colored a U is for unicorn page, and did an Earth Day color by number. For art, we did a Mothers day craft. They had to trace their hand and cut it out for the stems and use their fingerprints with stamp pads for the flowers. They turned out so cute! At the end of the day, we had story time. See you next week for our last week of school! We will have field day, 100th day, and our last day of school.
