Tues: Night

Today we started out our day by reading “Max at Night” the kids were so intrigued! They loved that Max was trying to say goodnight to the moon. Then we dyed noodles using sandwich baggies, hand sanitizer, and food coloring. This was so much fun! We then colored our sea turtle monthly coloring sheet and did our monthly name writing sheet. Then we finished with writing letter Nn and learning about number 8.

Wed: Noodles and Numbers

Today we started out our day by having fun visiting with Mrs. Aimee’s class! We had lots of fun! Then we laced noddles that we dyed and turned them into necklaces! They turned out awesome! Then we color-cut-paste letter N, had fun making the numbers 8,9,10 out of noodles, and matched uppercase letters to lowercase letters.

Thurs: Names and Nursery Rhymes

Today we started our day out by reading “Hey Diddle Diddle.” The kids loved learning about nursery rhymes, especially when the dish ran away with the spoon! That was their favorite part. Then we retold the nursery rhyme through patterns and a Hey diddle diddle poem book. Then we cut out pig pieces and put them in the right order for “This Little Piggie.” The kids laughed when the pig went wee wee all the way home!
