This week, we focused on the letter Z & the rectangle shape

 

Books we read:

 

Zoomer

The Underpants Zoo

Always in Trouble

 

Centers this week:

 

We used our fine motor skills to use tweezers to transfer cotton balls from one container to the other

We used buttons to form a letter Z

We colored our Z alphabet page

We used our sensory bin to pick out zoo animals

We traced the letter Zz

We used floam to make rectangles

We matched our alphabet using magnets

We colored our monthly page

We matched different sizes of rectangles

We traced rectangles

 

Art/Big Room:

 

We made an “I am thankful for” project

We followed zig zag lines on the carpet using cars

 

We also put together our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. I explained the meaning behind them, & hopefully they somewhat understand the concept!  As a school, we are able to bless the lives of 80 children this year!  Thank you so much!
