This week’s theme was Kicking off the Holiday Season! Tuesday we started the day with a holiday coloring page. For morning centers, we wrote about what we want to be when we grow up, did a letter match game, played with number pop its, and made fingerprint frames. In afternoon centers, we painted sticks for a later project, matched letter pumpkins, played a color sort game, and made letters and numbers with wikki Stix. At the end of the day, we played the Floor is Lava game and had story time.

Wednesday they started the day practicing writing their first and last names. In morning centers, they did name pages, letter pop its, Christmas ten frames, and played with kinetic sand. In specials, they reviewed the letters, sounds, and motions for Zoo Phonics and watched the video. At the end of the day, they colored Christmas coloring pages and had story time.

Thursday they started the day with a holiday coloring page. In morning centers, they worked on name pages, built with Picasso tiles, played a counting Christmas cookies game, and put together puzzles. For art, they made foam wreath ornaments. At the end of the day, they played games and had story time.

For everyone that came to Kids Only Night, I hope they had a great time! Come ready to learn a new letter  next week. We will be learning the letter J with  jellybeans, jumping for Jesus, and Jingle Bell Joy themed days 🙂
