Hi Parents,

We had a great week talking about the letter P! Here is a snap shot…

In centers we cut and matched pumpkin shapes, we made pizza patterns, and we did some candy corn counting. We also, practiced writing letters that were popcorn, made ‘pizza’ by following a recipe card, and cut shapes to make a jack-o-lantern.

In Science we poured vinegar over baking soda pumpkins and found a plastic spider hiding inside! The kids loved seeing the pumpkins fizz!!

In Art we made a ‘thumbkin’ patch painting with our thumbs and orange paint.

We read several books including, “The Biggest Pumpkin Ever,” “How To Eat Pizza,” and “The Pigeon Wants A Puppy.”

Next week we are talking about the letter O. I’m looking forward to Owls and Octagons, Opposites, and our Obstacle course!!

Take Care,

Missy
