Tues: Pumpkin Palooza

Today we had a fun working on a special project that will be going home soon! Then we read the book “Penguin and Pumpkin,” this is such a cute book! We then had fun with pumpkin letter sounds and a pumpkin math game where they count the frames and put a counter in the spot. Finally we worked on writing the letter P, cutting out things that start with p, and pasted them in the right spot.

Wed: Pretend Pizza Party

Today we started out our day by reading the book “How many ways can you cut a pie?” Then we had fun searching for and writing the letter p. Then we played a pizza matching game and had fun with pizza shapes. Finally, we worked on our special project that’s going home Tuesday.

Thurs: Popcorn, Pjs, and Spookley

Today we started our day out by reading “Spookley the square pumpkin.” Then we did a fun Spookley art project by making Spookley out of construction paper! We then ate popcorn with skittles, marshmallows, and pretzels! Finally we watched the movie Spookley! The kids had a great day!

Everyone had a fantastic week! I can’t wait to see everyone on Tuesday! We will be learning about owls, octagons, and opposites.

Reminder: Thursday we are wearing orange and having a field day.

Homework: Practice spelling first and last name orally. There will be a special treat on Tuesday if the kids can tell me the special word: Octagon
