Hi Parents,

We had a fun week with the letter R! Here is a snap shot…

In centers we sorted skittles onto a rainbow then clipped numbered clothes pins with the correct amount, we made rainbows with our names, and we played the sneaky, snaky squirrel game. The day of our party we counted spiders onto sticks, made fun sticker faces, and decorated pumpkins.

In science we did an experiment with skittles. We put them in a circle on a plate and the poured water over them. Each color bled into the middle of the plate making rainbow stripes!

We read several books including, “Groovy Joe We’re Going To Build A Rainbow,” “Curious George Hunted Halloween,” and “Little Boo.”

In art we made rainbow flowers with cut toilet paper rolls. We will finish these next week.

Remember this coming week is fall break so we won’t be back in school until Wednesday the 4th!!

Take Care,

Missy
