Tues: Rainbows

Today we started out our day by reading “God’s Promises.” Then talked about how a rainbow is a symbol of God’s promise! We also talked about the colors in the rainbow. Then we tore paper and glued them to make ripping rainbows. We had fun practicing ripping paper! We then had fun with a rainbow number matching game, practice writing the letter Rr, and sorting the colors of the rainbow.

Wed: Relay Races

Today we started out our day by having fun with relay races! Then for art we had fun painting our pumpkins different colors with q-tips, and then sprinkled glitter on top. After that we went back to the classroom and we made a pumpkin volcano erupt, finished our ripping rainbows by adding clouds, color-cut-pasted letter R, and finished with a rainbow letter matching game.

Thurs: Harvest Party!

Today we started our day out by reading “My Mummy?” Then we colored a Charlie Brown “The Great Pumpkin” coloring page and finished decorating our pumpkins! They turned out great! Then we danced to monster mash and had fun tossing up orange balloons! Finally it was time for our parade and trunk or treat! It was so windy but we had fun! We went back to our classrooms where we wrapped our friends into mummies, had a delicious treat, and then watched Charlie Brown’s “The Great Pumpkin.” Everyone had a great time and I loved everyone’s costumes!
