Welcome to Mrs. Kelli’s Preschool Classroom!

This week, we focused on the letters Ff & Pp

Books we read:

The Cow that Laid an Egg

Spookley, the Square Pumpkin

Centers this week:

We used our handprints to make a duck for our farm mural

We used our fine motor skills to string beads

We colored our Itsy Bitsy Spider nursery rhyme page

We used the felt board to make a farm scene

We played with our farm toy set

We put play doh on the letter Pp

We did our Pp ABC page (Pp is for pink & purple pumpkin!)

We rolled dice, and counted the dots, then used tweezers to pick up the same # of pom poms, transferring them from one bowl to another

We used our rubber band boards

We matched our alphabet using magnets on the white board

We created our own Spookley the Square Pumpkin by gluing small orange squares onto a large black square. Then we added stems, leaves, and eyes.  They are super cute!

P is for popcorn & pajamas! We had fun wrapping up the week by wearing our pj’s to school and having a popcorn snack!

Unfortunately, the cold weather is here!  Please write your child’s name in their coat, hats, etc.  It will be very helpful to keep everyone’s belongings with the right person.  Thank you!

Until Next Week,

Mrs. Kelli
