We had another great week of school with the letters A and M. Here’s a snap shot…
In centers we practiced writing the letters Aa and Mm, we did A and M puzzles, and we made a moose with our hand prints on the letter M. We also, traced letters in moon sand, tossed moon rocks, and counted ‘berries’ (beads) into muffin tins.
We read several books including, ‘If You Give A Moose A Muffin,’ and then we were able to eat our own mini muffins! We also read, ‘Goodnight Moon.’ We looked for the little mouse on each colored page and then matched rhyming word cards from the story. The kids loved ‘The Monster At The End Of This Book’ too!
In art we finished up our apple prints by making the red stamped apples into lady bugs. We also colored astronauts and will glue those on our moons we painted next week.
Next week we are talking about the letter F. Can’t wait!
