After two COLD days, the kids got to work trying to pack 4 days of school into 2!
Monday and Tuesday, activities were posted on google classroom. I would appreciate feedback during conferences on what activities were hits/misses. Almost everyone brought me a drawing – great job drawing penguins!
“I” is for ice cream!
On Wednesday, we read a fun Pete the Cat ice cream book. Pete was trying to get to the ice cream truck. We set up an ice cream stand in the classroom, painted with ICE CUBES and practiced writing the letter “I”.
On Thursday, the class heard a story about vanishing ice cream. The decorated their ice cube paintings, made fun ice cream cones in art, and wrote their favorite ice cream flavor on a journal page. To end the week the kids enjoyed ice cream cups.
Looking forward to seeing parents on Friday.
