Hello! I hope you all are warm and enjoying your days at home!
Mon/Tuesday were review days. We spent a lot of time on the rectangle vs square. That seems to be a trouble spot for a lot of kids!
We read There Was An Old Woman Who Followed Some Snow. We played color/shape Bingo in class. The kids did pretty well with it!
For centers we practiced writing our name, made rectangles using brown play doh, made rectangles on peg boards, matched the alphabet with ABC magnets, sorted squares and rectangle blocks.
Wed/Thursday was all about the #6! I hope you all had a chance to check out our Google Classroom and do some of the activities posted. Some of the centers posted were a #6 worksheet, stringing beads- in class we were going to use an hourglass and see how many they could string before the time ran out, single and advanced patterns, counting clip cards.
I also put a few ideas on how to use some of this SNOW!! Make snow ice cream or using water color paint or food color and eye droppers paint the snow!
It’s not too late to check out Google Classroom and it’s pretty easy to use! I’d love to hear your feedback and see pictures!
Have a great weekend!
