We had a great week! It is amazing that we are coming upon the last weeks of school! Trying to soak in the last couple weeks with all my sweet little people!

We worked on the Letters B and K this week.

On Mon/Tuesday we worked on the Letter B. We used paint markers and bingo dabbers to color a butterfly, We read Pete the Cat and the Bedtime Blues. We continued to watch our class caterpillars as they turned to cocoons this week.

In our centers we colored our B ABC page, traced the letter B and maze lines, sensory bin with kinetic sand and pretend bugs, colored our crowns for King and Queen day next week, and put buttons on the Letter B.  For the Letter B I told the kids their homework was to find at least 2 things in their house that started with the letter B.

Wed/Thursday was the Letter K. We read Kite Day and finished our crowns and also practiced writing our names.

In our centers we colored our K ABC page, counted beads, practiced cutting, colored a K and glued a crown- K is for King, build the letter K with snapping strips. The letter K was our last letter. We have officially went over every letter in the alphabet!

In the month of May we will focus on review, and having fun!!!

Next week is our King and Queen Day at school! It’s a fun day for your kids to celebrate you!! I remember coming to this with my own boys, parents take advantage of this special time with your kids! Before you know it they will be big and off to high school!

I hope you have a great weekend! See you next week!
