We covered the letter Gg this week and enjoyed celebrating our Grandparents/Special people on Tuesday!
Monday: Green day/St. Patrick’s Day- Start up: Shamrock color page; Centers/Activities: Letter Gg sounds. Letter Uu review, create Leprechaun masks; Books: Pete the Cat and the Great Leprechaun Chase and Pout Pout Fish Lucky Leprechaun
Tuesday: Grandparents Day/Gardening: Start up: Looking at books; Activities: garden graphing and garden color page; Celebrated our Grandparents with a short program!
Wednesday: Go, Go Gorilla- Start up: Goodnight Gorilla color page; Centers/Activities: Goodnight Gorilla sequencing order of animals according to the story, diamond color/cut, and created our Gordo the Gorilla Zoophonics gorilla; Books- How to get a Gorilla out of the Bathtub and Don’t Be Greedy Graham, also Goodnight Gorilla 2x before our sequencing sheet.
Thursday: Wear Gray- Start up: Names in QKs; Centers/Activities: Gg bubble color and count, Giraffes Can’t Dance creative writing page and creating our own wacky giraffes!; Books: Giraffes Can’t Dance and There’s a Giraffe in my Soup.
