We covered the letter Qq this week and only have 3 more left!!! These next few weeks after Spring Break always fly by! Be on the look out for lots of important information coming home: King and Queen Day, Graduation Picture info and Graduation information as well.
Monday- Q-tip painting: Start up: Names in QKs; Centers/Activities: Q is for Quilt color by code, Q-tip pencil painting, Q trace/color, Queenie the Quail Zoophonics craft; Books-The Quiet Quail Alphatale story. We also shared our Flat Stanleys this week as students brought them in!
Tuesday- Crafty Quilters: Start up: Qq letter find in bubbles; Centers/Activities: Quilt patterns cut/paste/color, Name quilts; Books: The Q Book
Wednesday- Quacking Queens: Start up: Qq letter sounds; Centers/Activities: Q maze, Qq writing practice, flower marker print; We also had the Enviromobile with us for a lesson on recycling and litter.
Thursday- Q is for Quarter: Start up: Phone Numbers/Addresses in QKs; Centers/Activities: Cut out flowers from yesterday now that they are dry, quarter math page/looked at coins, number 19 activity page; Books: Curious George Saves his pennies and Litter Critter Just Saving My Money.
Next week we will be covering the letter Kk and have some fun crafts for spring and Easter!
