Mrs. Kelli’s Preschool Classroom
Hello and welcome to our class page! I will be updating weekly so you can get more detailed into about how we spend our days.
During these first several weeks, we are getting to know each other and establish a routine . For almost everyone, this is not only their first time in a classroom, but also the first time away from mom & dad, & that takes some getting used to! We expect there will be some bumps along the way & that’s ok! Overall, everyone did great!
This week, we took our first day of school pictures and attempted short centers, which included unifix cubes, Legos, magnet tiles, doodling on the white board, & some coloring pages, etc. We did a “First Day of School” handprint Art project as well. We read our All About Me pages together, and had fun playing in the Big Room too! We read two books, David Goes to School, & Llama Llama Red Pajama.
I did send a few pictures on Group Me for this first week, but typically, I just send pictures sporadically. Not to worry, your child’s year will be documented in pictures and you’ll see them in our slide show at graduation!
