Welcome to Mrs. Kelli’s Preschool Classroom
One month down! I’m seeing the kids settling in & getting used to our school routine more and more each school day. This week, we focused on the #’s 0 & 1, and introduced our October themes. On Wednesday & Thursday, we focused on the letter F.

Centers this week:
We stacked unifix cubes into straight lines to look like the #1
We did a #1 play doh mat
We did a #1 quick kit
We practiced 1:1 correspondence by using our wooden peg boards
We used mini pegs/peg boards to form the #1
We colored a fire truck for our F ABC page
We put flower stickers on letter F
We made a fish picture on our Fanta boards
We did our “Itsy Bitsy Spider” nursery rhyme page
We did a “Froggy Feeding Fun” fine motor activity with rubber frogs which had to be squeezed to open the mouths of the frogs to pick up flies. It was super fun for the kids!
Art/Other:
We practiced writing our names
We painted our feet yellow . We’ll be turning them into ears of corn to go on our farm mural, along with the rest of the school’s projects!
