Letters we worked on this week were N & Z
CENTERS:
We colored our N ABC page
Found the letter N on our whiteboard
Practiced tracing and writing our names
Did a Noah’s Arc animal matching activity
Did a number find with our pegs
Colored our Z is for Zoo ABC coloring page
Did a Z letter find
Made zig zags on the table with tape and drove our matchbox cars on them
Made Zebras with our handprints and painted them with marbles
Traced the letter Z on our quick kits
ART/OTHER:
We made name nests by glueing little birds in nests and putting the letters of their name on them. They turned out really cute.
We also joined Mrs. Kellis class in the big room where we walked, crawled, and hopped through cones we made in zig zags patterns. Also we made a big letter Z with our bodies and took a picture. You will see that at graduation in our slide show.
We ended big room with dancing to some Danny Go.
I read the book Class two at the zoo.
