This week, we focused on letter S & the colors black & white!
Books we read:
Penguins Penguins Everywhere!
The Most Perfect Snowman
Centers:
We sorted by color & built with blocks
We colored a snowman for our letter S ABC page
We did a letter S find on the white board
We used salt trays to draw & some even wrote letter S!
We did a “build a snowman” activity-they loved it!
We did sailboat fanta boards
We drew and wrote on the white board (vertical drawing) with black dry erase markers
We used our fine motor boards
We colored our “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” nursery rhyme page
We made our very own penguins (black & white) by gluing the body, tummy, eyes and beaks
ART/Other:
Art time this week was so much fun! We made snowmen, and put the letters of our first names on them for the buttons. They are all so cute and unique!
On Big Room Day, we did a super fun obstacle course with balancing, catching a ball, crawling through a tunnel, and jumping! Then we pulled out the basketball stuff & shot some hoops!
