Vegetables in Underwear
Centers this week:
We colored a lion for our Ll ABC page
We decorated our Valentines Day bags with stickers
We put play doh in the shape of letter V & then cut the play doh
We did a letter V search
We practiced writing/tracing our names
We colored vegetables for our V ABC page
We traced loopy lady bug lines
We used little legos & put them in the shape of letter L
We did a lady bug fanta board
We did a lady bug quick kit
ART/other:
We made a Love Monster art project-gluing his body, mouth & teeth- & sticking on his big googly eyes, and heart stickers too. They are adorable!
We played with “Vet stuff” in the big room-with stuffed animals of all kinds, medical kits, & we even had scrubs to wear! It was lots of fun!
Notes:
Remember, our Valentine’s parties are on 2/9 & 2/10. Parents/significant others are welcome to attend! Your child should be dropped off at their usual time. Morning parties begin at 9, & afternoon parties begin at 12:15. The party lasts for 45 minutes and you are welcome to take your child with you after the party concludes. As always, please let your child know if you’re NOT coming, because they often assume if one parent is there, their parent will be there too. If you/someone else will NOT be there, please send me a quick message, just so I know. Thank you!
As for exchanging Valentines, we are doing that on Wednesday & Thursday during class. A note with details came home in folders this past week.
