This week, we focused on the letter E, & the #7 & #8

 

Books we read:

The Good Egg

The Cow that Laid an Egg

 

Centers this week:

 

We colored an elephant for our E ABC page

We did Easter Egg tracing with different lines-vertical, horizontal, zig-zags, curves, etc.

We put eyeball stickers on letter Ee

We made letter E on our mini peg boards

We practiced writing our names

We did various activities with the #’s 7 & 8- such as tracing, 1:1 correspondence, coloring, using floam to form the numbers, & identifying the numbers

 

ART:

This week, we squirted paint from bottles on egg shaped paper, then folded and flattened the paper to create colored eggs. We used these eggs to make our own “Good Eggs” to go along with the book we read in class

 

Notes:

Grandparent’s Days are next week! Please check the  information for your child’s specific date and time. We will be opening the doors at 9:30 for the morning performances & 12:30 for the afternoon performances. Please let your families know that for security reasons, we cannot open the doors earlier than those times. We don’t want anyone waiting in the weather unnecessarily.
