Mrs. Kelli’s Preschool Classroom

My apologizes for not posting last week. Here is a recap of our last 2 weeks, where we  focused on the letters Y & Q, the octagon shape, & celebrated King & Queen Day!

We colored a Queen for our Q ABC page & a yellow yo-yo for letter Y. We did a fun sensory activity for letter Q, “quarters in a quarry” where we hid quarters in individual sandboxes and went digging! We practiced our names, cutting,  & did letter finds. We did fine motor & sensory activities such as tanagrams, rubber band boards, and used floam to make the octagon shape. We did upper/lowercase alphabet matching  & color matching. We also did evaluating on many things such as alphabet, numbers, patterning, shapes, & colors, etc. Our Tuesday/Thursday classes were blessed with a beautiful day yesterday, so we got to enjoy some outside time, where we did some chalk drawing.

To prepare for King & Queen Day, we did our Q & A for the slideshow you saw & the gifts you received. As we prepare to graduate soon, we painted hands for our graduation caps. It has been a busy time!

It’s hard to believe we only have 6 more class days together! We have been focusing on getting all of our testing done, so we can really enjoy these last days. I can’t believe we’re almost at graduation time!

Until Next Week,
