We did it! The first week of school is complete! Overall, everyone did very well. It will take a few weeks to get settled in, learn the rules/routine, & get to know each other, but so far, so good!
Here’s what we did this week….

We kept it pretty simple with our activities as we are learning the routine. These are the Centers we did this week:
We colored a Welcome to School page
We played with Legos
We played with play doh
We built with magnet tiles
We drew on the white board
Our Tues/Thurs kids did: (Mon/Wed will do this next week)
1:1 correspondence with red wooden pegs
We did mini peg boards using red pegs only
We colored our “Roses Are Red” nursery rhyme page
We used red play doh and play doh cutters
We built with Legos
ART:
We made 1st day of school art!
We also took first day of school pictures, did lots of music and movement, and had recess in the Big Room
