This week we learned about the letter R.
Tuesday was Rainbow day and Logan’s birthday
Morning work, Circle time, Bathroom break, Foyer Time
Centers- Write Rr in quick kit, name Rainbow craft, make rainbow towers with blocks, and R cutting page
Wash hands, Lunch, Recess, Bathroom break
The firemen came back! We even got to ride in the firetruck 🙂 Fire safety and obstacle course
Played the F riddle game and painted rainbows to finish the day!
Wednesday was Rectangles and Robots day.
Morning work, Foyer time, Bathroom break
We had Specials today. In Phonics, we reviewed the letters A and M and introduced letters F and R. Francy fish and Robby rabbit and sang our Zoo phonics song. They also learned sign language, Spanish, and a Science experiment
Circle time, Wash hands, Lunch, Recess, Bathroom break
Centers- Rectangle trace color and cut, making rectangles on geoboards, Robot tangrams, and we made our own rectangle robots!
Foyer time, October writing and coloring sample, makeup work, and play with our friends
Thursday was Rocket day
Morning work, circle time, bathroom break, foyer time
Centers- Name rockets craft, rhyming puzzle, rocket roll and build, color R rocket
Wash hands, Lunch, Recess, Bathroom break
Centers- Alphabet build, Rocket color by number, sensory bin with moon rocks, makeup work
Foyer time and then we went outside to do Stomp Rockets to end the day!
