This week, we focused on the letter A. For our MW Preschoolers, we learned about the color red as well
Centers this week:
We colored an apple for our Aa ABC page
We practiced our fine motor skills, using tweezers to pick up apple erasers
We put apples on the letter A
We did color matching on our apple fanta boards
We used magnetic chips and put them on our A is for Apple Quick kits
MW only, see last weeks post for what we did for red (T TH did this last week)
ART:
We did a fun gluing project for “All About Me”. These will be used for our Original Works too! You’ll see these in the coming weeks
We had recess in the big room. We are encouraging the kids to not only get to know each other, but to share, take turns, etc.
We’ve also been learning new songs both in circle time, and the big room.
Other:
We hope that despite the weather, (among other things) everyone enjoyed the field trip to the apple orchard. Mrs. Trish & Mrs. Becca worked so hard to put it together. There were a lot of things out of our control, and we do apologize that it wasn’t possible to get the full experience.
Remember, this Tuesday, 9/22 is our first “What’s for dinner” night at St. John Dairy Queen from 3-8 pm. We hope to see lots of you there. Please remember to mention ABC when ordering, whether it’s in the drive-thru or inside. Thank you!
