This week we focused on springtime and earth day/recycling!!!!!

On Tuesday, we focused on the theme of “spring”. For morning centers, we matched the number of beads to the number on the flower, did a spring graphing sheet in quick kits, matched upper to lower case ABCs with a flower theme, and measured flowers with unifix cubes. In the afternoon, we did our April monthly coloring/writing page and went on a walk to find spring. At the end of the day, we painted our hands for our grandparents’ day frames. We also read books on the weather and spring.

On Wednesday, we focused on the theme of Earth Day/recycling. For morning centers, we did a cut and paste Earth Day sort, played a “Happy/Sad Earth” game with pictures, did a counting worksheet in quick kits, and play an Earth Day I-spy game. In the afternoon, we did a listening/following directions Earth Day color by number coloring page with the teen numbers. We also read books on Earth Day and recycling.

On Thursday, we focused on the theme of Earth Day/recycling again. For morning centers, we made ten frames with an Earth Day theme, made Earth Day pictures with snap cubes, did a lowercase letter match. and colored a spring I-spy worksheet. In the afternoon, we sat and listened to the Environmoblie ladies talk about recycling. For afternoon art, we did an Earth Day project. We also read more books on Earth Day/recycling.

Until next week,
