Week of April 6th

This week, we celebrated Easter and learned about the letter K

Centers:

We did all kinds of things with Easter eggs-sorting, matching patterned cards to eggs, using tongs to pick them up, had an egg toss, and making funny faced eggs

We colored a kite for our letter K ABC page

We practiced cutting

We made the letter K using pegs/ mini peg boards

We practiced writing our names

We made letter K’s on the white boars, using magnets

We had fun with a springtime sensory bin-digging, scooping, and finding bugs

Art/Other:

We painted our hands to make our gifts for grandparents

We also painted a special surprise for our upcoming King & Queen Day

Our caterpillars have arrived! We’re looking forward to watching them grow! Speaking of growing, our grass seeds we planted last week have really taken off! The kids were so excited to see how much it’s grown in just one week!

Notes:

Don’t forget, next Monday & Tuesday, we are taking our graduation pictures.

Until Next Week,
