This week was C week. Tuesday was C is for cloud day. We started the day practicing writing first names. In morning centers, we wrote upper and lowercase C’s, played feed the clouds letter game, did some cloud counting with cotton balls, and did our C cutting page. In the afternoon, we finished our snow globe ornaments and Rudolph canvases. Then we had play practice. For art, we made our bags to put our ornaments in. We ended the day with story time.
Wednesday was If you give a mouse a cookie day. We started the day playing with some toys. In morning centers, we wrote about what we would do if we got a cookie, played a cookie jar game, played a Christmas roll and count, and did a tree push pin activity. In afternoon centers, we counted cookies, finished our bags, did our C letter review page, and found all the C’s. At the end of the day we got to eat cookies and had story time. We read if you give a mouse a cookie.
Thursday was a cool candy canes day. We started the day reading some books. In centers, we did candy corn letters, c puzzles, made felt ornaments, and made candy cane ornaments. In the afternoon, we finished our ornaments and had play practice. At the end of the day, we put all our ornaments in our bags and played with friends.
