This week, we focused on the letter C & the triangle shape
Wow! We have been so BUSY this week! We began practicing for our upcoming Christmas play, learning, & our hands have been working very hard to make some special surprises for you too!
Centers:
We colored a cat for our C ABC page
We did a letter C find on the white board
We practiced cutting
We drove cars on letter C
We played with legos
We lined magnetic disks up to create triangles
We used triangle shaped magnet tiles to build things
We used our mini peg boards to create triangles
We colored our “Little Jack Horner” nursery rhyme page
We practiced writing our names
We painted triangles
ART:
Lots of art is being done, but I can’t go into specifics, because it would ruin the surprises 🙂 Let me just say there is tons of paint and glitter!
Other:
On Monday & Tuesday, we had lots of fun for our “Cozy Cocoa” day wearing jammies and having some cocoa with marshmallows!

Christmas Play:
Please check your calendar regarding our Christmas programs, dates, times, etc. We have had some questions regarding what to wear. For the kids in costume, those are provided by ABC. Some kids opt to not wear a costume, others want to, and oftentimes, kids will change their minds literally on the day of the play while we are getting them dressed for stage.. Every year, we have kids who want to switch costumes, or refuse to wear one, etc. There’s just no way of telling. We just roll with it. So….just send your child in something comfortable & cute 🙂 After the program concludes, we are dismissing for the day.
