Mrs. Kelli’s Preschool Classroom!

 

This week, we focused on learning about triangles & did lots of art!

 

Books we read:

The Elf on the Shelf, A Christmas Tradition

It’s Christmas, David!

 

Centers:

We did shape clip cards

We colored our “Little Jack Horner” nursery rhyme page

We used our writing boards

We did our number peg boards for 1:1 correspondence

We practiced writing letters C & J on the white board

We did a triangle dot activity

We did a triangle match

We practiced making triangles on our rubber band boards

We used legos to make triangles on the floor

We did ABC-upper/lowercase & color alligator matching

 

ART:

We did more secret Christmas projects using lots of paint & glue!

 

Other:

We got a visit from Officer Adams & his K9 dog, Storm from the St. John police Dept! We loved meeting them both, and seeing how they work together.  We even got to pet the dog!
