This week, we focused on the #4 & the letter J. We also did A LOT of things for Christmas (shhh…it’s a surprise, so again, this update has to be a little vague) & practiced a ton for next week’s Christmas play!

Room For A Little One
Centers this week:
We practiced our fine motor skills, using stickers…a few times!
We did a #4 play doh mat
We did 1:1 correspondence, stacking groups of 4 blocks
We taped out the #4 on the table, and placed chips on it
We colored a jar of jellybeans for our J ABC page
We used glitter and glue (oh, so much glitter!) 🙂
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Monday/Wednesday classes will have their play on Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday classes will have their play on Tuesday. Please check your child’s calendar for specifics. Detailed instructions are on the back. If you can’t fine the calendar sent home, they are always posted here, under Mrs. Trish’s name. Your child’s school arrival time is the same as always. Please drop them off like you normally would. After the play concludes, you will have an opportunity to take photos with your child, and then we will be taking them back to the classroom area briefly to collect their school bag, coat, and gifts for you! We will then bring them back to the church area to go home at that time. If your child is wearing a costume, please do NOT take their costume off. Several characters have multiple pieces, and it’s just much easier to keep everything together if your child leaves it on. Thank you!
