Just a few notes:

Christmas plays:

Next Tuesday & Wednesday we will be performing for you! Students are to come to school at their regular arrival time. Morning classes will perform at 9:30, & afternoon classes will perform at 12:30. All are welcome to attend! Doors will open at 9:15 & 12:15. There will be no class time on those days, so all students will be leaving after their performance is over.  I have had some inquiries as to what children should wear–this is up to you. Most children will be in costume, and most of our preschoolers are dressed as animals. Animals all have some sort of headwear, so for the girls in costume, they’ll likely have to take off any headbands/bows, etc. If you have specific questions for me regarding this, please reach out.

Winter Wear:

It’s COLD! However, I strongly suggest that you keep mittens/gloves at home. Since the kids are brought in quickly, there’s really no need for those,  & it eliminates the possibility of lost items. We typically have the walking area of the arrival line shoveled, so there’s also no need for big snow boots either. They are cumbersome when we’re doing large motor activities. Thank you!

Sickness:

We are trying our best to keep germs at a minimum and keep kids (and staff) healthy, so please keep your child home if they are sick. We’re trying to teach them to cover coughs and sneezes, and ask that you help remind them too 🙂 We totally understand they are little and still learning, so all help is appreciated!

Until Next Week,

Mrs. Kelli
