Hi Parents,

We had a fun week with the letter V. Here’s a snapshot…

On Tuesday our theme was, ‘Valentine’s Day.’ In morning centers, the kids wrote about 3 things they love, they worked on a beginning sound match, and they played a pop it game with dice and counting. In afternoon centers, the kids build with LEGO, put together letter puzzles, and finished a heart pin poke and wrote the word ‘love’ in the middle of it. We ended the day by cutting and gluing the letter V as a vase with heart flowers coming out of it.

Wednesday was our Valentine’s Day party. The kids had so much fun! Check our GroupMe page to see some pictures. Thank you to everyone that donated items and that also came and helped!

On Thursday our theme was ‘Vegetables.’ In morning centers, the kids worked on a veggie themed look and find, they cut and glued veggies on to the letter V, and they painted with veggies! In afternoon centers, the kids played with fidget toys, put beads on string, and they finished their last name books from last week. They also cut out circles and colored them. We ended our day with art. The kids cut out a vase and glued flowers above it drawing in the stems and leaves. These turned out great and will be going up in the hallway next week!

Next week we will talk about the letter H. Looking forward to it!

Take Care,

Missy
