This week we learned about the letter V. Tuesday we started the day coloring a Valentine page. Then we had our Valentine party! We had a snack, made a craft, and played some games with friends. Thanks to all that came to help!
Wednesday was veggie day. We started the day playing toys with friends. We had specials and rotated through Spanish, sign language, science, and phonics. In phonics, we learned about our new letter V, sang our song, and played Zoo phonics charades. For centers, we wrote upper and lowercase V, painted with veggies, played ISPY vegetables, and magnets. Then we had big room and played with friends to end the day.
Thursday we celebrated Valentines day and wore pink and purple. In morning centers, we wrote the letter V, did our V cutting page, subtitizing cards, and heart yarn lacing with paper plates. In afternoon centers, we wrote our numbers, letters, and shapes on the big board, did our V letter review page, valentine ten frames, and push pin hearts. To end the day, we finished passing out our Valentines to our friends.
