This week was L week. Tuesday was Little Love Bug day. We started the day with a coloring page. In morning centers, we did a color by number, love bug sequencing, love bug dots, and tic tac toe love bugs. In afternoon centers, we did some more love bug sequencing, roll and write game, ladybug spots, and cut love bugs paths. For art, we made our own love bugs by cutting and gluing hearts into a bug. We ended the day with story time.
Wednesday was Lovely Last Names day. We started the day practicing writing our last names. In centers, we started our last name books, did our L cutting page, letter leaves alphabet game, and practiced writing upper and lowercase L’s. For Specials, we practiced our letter sounds with flashcards and videos. At the end of the day, we finished our last name books and had story time.
Thursday was Love Letters Day. We started the day playing toys with friends. In morning centers, we started our Things I Love books, did our L letter review page, math cards, and lacing cards. In afternoon centers, we continued with our things I love books, wrote and found L’s, delivered letters through all of the alphabet, and wrote love letters. At the end of the day, we finished makeup work and had story time. See you next week for V week and our Valentine Party!
